JC, brilliant comic. This speaks to me on two levels. The first is that the comic is sadly accurate about people becoming masters with umpteen blackbelts. The second is that in the eye of the public a blackbelt means being a master. Those in the arts understand its a beginning to the real work.
your second point is especially insightful. i don't study yoga, but it seems there are masters in this art everwhere as well...and qi gong, tai chi, etc. i always thought a lifetime was too little time to fully master anything.
